frame within a frame
Every September, my book club (which has been together with the same members, except for those who have moved away, since 1998) has an awesome weekend at Mary's camp on Wakamata Lake. We eat yummy food and drink a lot of wine, talk about books and a million other things, play a game or two, enjoy morning coffee on the dock, enjoy the stars from the hot tub and hike (if you are so inclined) or in my case, stay back and guard the wine while taking more last minute photography project photos.
Mary's camp was the subject of one of my blog posts last year and it features here again. I wandered around looking for opportunities in the beautiful early fall weather.
Here we have some wine framed by the Muskoka chairs and the lake. It was slightly early for wine but I opened a bottle all in the name of art!
Every year I have wondered if anyone ever sits on this bench overlooking the garden.
Not much colour in the trees yet this year.
I love this kind of swing.
These flowers are seen through the back of a bench.
Still blooming.
From the outside of the sun room, the trees and sky reflect perfectly.
This next one doesn't follow the theme but the waves coming in so perfectly aligned with the dock appealed to me. I wish Mary's dock sat a little more square in the water.
